Liskevych comments on MK
“We went to our best player and she performed and got us over the hump,” Oregon State head coach Taras Liskevych said. “Scoring 32 points and getting 30 kills in a double-double – that’s a great game. That’s what we want to see.”
It was a gutsy comeback by us,” said head coach Taras Liskevych. “We were down in a lot of those sets and the team didn’t give up, they just kept grinding. It was great to see Mary-Kate Marshall really pick it up as the match went along. It’s always good to win against the Big-10 and we’re looking forward to playing Michigan State tomorrow night.”
“Mary-Kate had a great first weekend,” said head coach Taras Liskevych. “We all know that she’s a very accomplished player both in the front-court and back-court. Mary-Kate is going to be a great volleyball player, she’s got lots to learn but the great thing about her is that she is very level headed and a hard worker. The best is yet to come from her.”

“Mary-Kate has worked hard at constantly improving her skills,” said head coach Taras Liskevych. “We’re very fortunate to have a player of her ability and character as part of the team. She’s been an offensive force for us this year and she’s only getting better.”
“Mary-Kate continues to be consistent in her attack effort while also doing a good job digging the ball,” said head coach Taras Liskevych. “She’s definitely been a mainstay for us offensively. She’s a joy to coach and the sky is the limit for her.
I can’t say enough about Mary-Kate Marshall. She deserves the freshman kills record and it was a great match to do it. She’s been outstanding this year and the best is yet to come for her.”
“I have to thanks Tayla Woods along with Darby Reeder and the rest of our back row players,” said Marshall. “I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to break the record without them, especially the great passing from Tayla. It’s been an amazing season and tonight was a great win.” |
